Levi Robert Stokka, 12, of 9709 Vance Dr., Chippewa Falls, town of Seymour, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, as a result of a bicycle accident in the town of Lafayette.
He was born May 19, 1995, in Chippewa Falls to Beth Ann (Reckling) and Joel K.
Stokka. He grew up in Chippewa Falls and has been a student at Christ Lutheran School where he was just promoted to seventh grade. Levi accepted Christ as his Saviour at an early age and was baptized at Crossroads Church.
Levi loved sports and played on the Halmstad Hawks team in the Chippewa Falls Youth Football League. He also was a member of the Major League Twins team in the Chippewa Falls Youth Baseball Program, the Christ Lutheran School basketball team, and was a member of the youth group at Crossroads Church in Chippewa Falls. |
He will be dearly missed by his parents; his three sisters, Elizabeth (Dean) Freerks of El Paso, Texas, Rebekah and Abigail Stokka; his three brothers, Caleb, Isaac, and Ethan Stokka, all of Chippewa Falls; his paternal grandparents, Eleanore and the Rev. Bruce Stokka of Chippewa Falls; his maternal grandmother, Lula Reckling of Chippewa Falls; aunts; uncles; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Earl Reckling.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Crossroads Church, 209 W. South Ave., Chippewa Falls, with Pastor Wade Duroe officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Crossroads Church in Chippewa Falls and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
Levi loved Jesus and he loved people and he is safe in our Heavenly Father's arms.
Memorials in Levi's memory may be directed to Christ Lutheran School Scholarship Fund or to Crossroads Kids Playground Fund.
