      Dorothy Hannah Frederick, 99, of 628 S. Main St., Chippewa Falls, died peacefully and went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
 
She was born September 19, 1907, in Abbottsford to Robert and Birdie (Dickinson) Hamilton. She grew up in the Colby area and attended Colby area schools. She married Clarence "Jim" Frederick on June 3, 1926, in St. Paul, Minnesota and they were blessed with ten children. They farmed in the town of Lafayette for many years, and after her husband's death on Sept. 8, 1948, she raised her family and later worked at the Northern Center, retiring in 1973.
 
Dorothy had a very deep faith in God. She was a member of the Chippewa Valley Bible Church, where she enjoyed attending Bible studies, and at one time, taught Sunday school. She enjoyed writing poetry, reading, music and watching television, especially C-Span and 7th Heaven. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her graciousness and her love of the Lord.
 
Survivors include two sons, Jerome (Carole) Frederick, Thomas (Bonny) Frederick, all of Chippewa Falls; five daughters, Betty (Raleigh) Nayes of Chippewa Falls, Gloria (Dale) Fern of Baldwin, Dianne (Fred) Golden of Eau Claire, Kathleen Felix of Hackettstown, N.J., and Sally (Dave) Hanvelt of Eau Claire. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, Hugh, Glen, Robert, Rodney and Niles Hamilton; two sisters, Marjorie Brehm, Helen McConnell; infant daughter, Patricia; two sons, Niles and Perry Frederick; sons-in-law, Holger Nielsen and James E. Felix; daughters-in-law, MaryAnn Frederick, Marie Frederick, and Sandy Frederick; and grandchildren, John Nielsen and Hannah Irving.
 
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Chippewa Valley Bible Church, 531 E. South Ave., Chippewa Falls, with Pastor Jim Woldhuis officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie.
 
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
